Welcome to Toronto Mediation Services

Mediation is a confidential, voluntary process in which a neutral third party,
the Mediator, helps you to discuss and negotiate all issues surrounding your
problem with another party whether that issue is professional, personal or
a family matter. The process is designed so that parties need not worry about
having 'given away' anything that the other could use in Court.

Research shows that mediation improves communication and helps you build
for the future. Court battles on the other hand, tend to leave people feeling unheard and bitter and may increase the bad feeling between the parties. They may also be very costly.

Disputes that appear to be deadlocked can often be resolved enabling cost effective and timely closure.

Mediation is now an important tool in the resolution of disputes and throughout the world. Law practices are increasingly turning to mediation in order to resolve their Client's disputes faster and at dramatically lower costs.

Mediation is now widely recognised as one of the most economical and a
conclusive form of alternative dispute resolution. We are at the forefront of
this process by being accredited by the ADR Institute of Canada, Inc.

Our Mediators encourage and promote settlement by agreement as early
as is possible. This is achieved through improving communication and liaison
with parties in dispute and any lawyers.

A Mediators job is to assist you, the parties in dispute, in discussing the
problem and finding a mutually satisfactory solution. The Mediator's job is
not to judge who is right or wrong or to find fault or assign blame. Mediators avoid taking sides and making judgments, but give guidance using questions and improving communication. The Mediator is responsible for developing effective communication and building consensus between parties in order that they can build understanding and resolve damaging disputes.

Our trained Mediators provide you with the tools to untangle all the strands around any type of relationship breakdown whether that is professional, personal or family. We will try and find new ways of communicating and most importantly help the parties move forward for a better relationship and positive outcome.

Our Mediators will not tell people what to do. They will use their professional skills and expertise to help the parties work it out between themselves.
We have developed and maintained the very best professional standards and the delivery of services.
